My apprenticeship has been the best decision I have ever made regarding my career. The options I felt I had were limited when looking for courses in college, however with my apprenticeship, I feel like I have been given so many more options for my future.

By doing this I have expanded my knowledge and keeping my learning current. The sense of achievement has encouraged me to think about long term goals when it comes to career progression. Being able to do the qualification remotely whilst working full time and juggling a family has been of huge benefit.

How apprenticeships work

Apprenticeships combine hands-on learning with structured support and real workplace experience to help you build the skills that matter.

Work-based learning: Most of your evidence comes from your day-to-day job, blending practical work with guided mentoring and formal learning.

Flexible duration: Programmes typically last between 9 and 18 months, depending on your role and goals.

Personalised support: You’ll meet regularly with your assessor for remote check-ins, reviews, and feedback.

E-portfolio access: Track your progress online from any device. Stay organised and see your development in real time.
